Grampians Veteran Cycling Club is
based in the Central Western part of Victoria, Australia,
around the famous Grampians Ranges. The club was formed
in 1996 to cater for the needs of older riders, who
up until then had to
travel long distances to find specific
veteran events, or ride against much younger riders.

Grampians rider Brian Howlett backed up his second place in Saturdays graded scratch races with a great win in the 60 kilometer handicap on Sunday.
With a large bunch sprint at the end, an excited Howlett later said that a gap opened up at just the right time to allow him to get his wheel in front, metres before the line.

Crystal Wemyss won her division of the Australian Masters Road Championships, held at Ballarat on Sunday 9th November, 2011.
Unfortunately, Crystal missed the Time Trial held on the previous Thursday, as she was still recovering from a bad cold. We are sure she would have excelled in that event as well.
